Toledo CDRRMO rescued flooded residents of Brgy. Matab-ang

City Mayor Marjorie P. Perales made an urgent directive to the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) headed by Engr. Alexander Dennis M. Abella to conduct immediate response for the flooded residents of Barangay Matab-ang, Toledo City last October 31, 2019.

The rescue operation was participated by DPWH 3rd District Engineering Office who tirelessly worked until midnight upon approval of Engr. Lesil Amamio. The culverts of the two bridges were declogged after the flood water finally subsided.

Toledo Rescue S.T.A.R.S. Personnel and the nearby residents also participated in responding to the said incident. Also, the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) headed by Mrs. Mae Delia C. Tacandong immediately provided relief goods to the affected residents.
